A bit about us

Móti is a group of art graduates who have either studied in, returned to, or chosen to base themselves in Orkney. We are working together collaboratively with the aim of bridging the gap between being students and becoming practicing artists and designers within the Orkney Islands, welcoming recent graduates since we were founded in 2016. The aim of the group is to generate new work and for our members to form links with other artists and expand their network in and beyond Orkney.

Móti is a Norse word meaning 'towards; to meet' and as such we hope to provide motivation, support and feedback for one another.
