Drawing Routes: Experimentations in the art and act of drawing, focused on the act of drawing and offered the exhibiting artists the freedom to experiment with the traditional tools and principles of drawing while leaving room for individual interpretations of style and medium to be questioned and explored. The exhibition included work in a variety of media and explored a selection of starting points, investigations and finalised ideas.

Drawing Routes launched The Pier Arts Centre’s programme of events and exhibitions for Scotland’s Year of Young People 2018 and continued its support of young and emerging artists.
